FAMILY PORTRAITS AT LION'S LAKE

Lion's Lake has become one of my favorite locations to photograph at, especially in this crazy mid-west heat.  No matter how warm it gets here, there's a very small, yet cooler breeze that comes off the water.  It also photographs beautifully in the evenings when the sun dips behind the trees.  The weather was a very humid 91 degrees out.  Thankfully, it was overcast all day so were able to get the portraits done at a much earlier time than planned.  I had already known this sweet family for a very short time.  I first met the kids and their Dad back in February at the local Father-Daughter Dance I had photographed.  I then met their Mom at another event here in Warrensburg in April.  I adore this sweet family so much.  I'm bummed they're moving away, but excited for them at the same time.  I'm so glad I was able to get some beautiful portraits for them!  Here's some of my favorites!  Enjoy!
