I'm Jennifer Tru, a Missouri wedding, senior and portrait photographer with 20 years behind the camera. I've photographed hundreds of moments that mattered—wedding vows, nervous laughs, senior-year confidence, quiet connections and people who finally decided they deserved to exist in photographs, too. And after all these years, I've learned something: The photographs that matter most aren't always the perfectly posed ones. They're the ones that feel like you. That's what I want to create for you.

I'm Jennifer—a Missouri photographer, storyteller, occasional professional hype woman and the person who will absolutely tell you when the light is too good to leave. I've spent two decades photographing weddings and portraits throughout Missouri and Kansas. My style is honest, emotional and relaxed. I love beautiful portraits. But I also love the laugh immediately after the portrait. The look nobody else noticed. The wind messing up your hair. The moment you forget I'm standing there with a camera. Because perfect is nice. But real is better.
